One thing that came to mind when seeing the first few looks of Anteprima’s Fall 2019 show was The Nutcracker. The collection had a classic military-esque vibe going on, but it also had a daintiness that was entirely feminine. The show converged traditional styles with modern sensibilities, leading to a highly desirable line of suits and dresses that were as contemporary as well as feminine. What we loved about this line the most was that it upheld ladylike elegance without undercutting its powerful silhouettes and strong distinct forms. A beautiful chocolate brown check sweater, for instance, held its own unique round shape and was paired so beautifully with cream-colored trousers. Strong shoulders came by way of a 40s-inspired dress that exhibited power but was also a whole lot of prettiness. And a shimmering structured cocktail dress in a rich shade of azure is bound to make waves at an elegant evening affair. There’s a lot of exciting pieces for women to choose from in this Anteprima line, which automatically marks this as one of the highlights of the season!
