Luxury is all about craft and this was abundantly clear for Adam Lippes. His Fall 2019 collection was a fusion of pure craftsmanship and careful design, setting forth an astounding wardrobe that’s easy to wear yet completely refined. Continuing on his inspiration of Studio Peregalli, the Italian architectural firm known for mixing styles, periods, and aesthetics together, this was one of his more eclectic offerings. The first look of a well-cut checkered pantsuit with an upcycled mink collar looked far from the succeeding ensemble of a pale yellow ruffled chiffon top paired with olive green midi-length shorts. The former was a testament to craft and construction while the latter paid homage to the romanticism in his references. This continued on in the rest collection, from the rosy paisley prints, slouchy cashmere knits, and delicate lace and ruffles. All of the beauty and edginess Lippes is known for were blended together in a potpourri-like offering. Needless to say, with all such luxury at hand, this is bound to be a hit come fall!
