Fashion Week is always the most fabulous event—with high-end fashion brands left and right earning pure admiration for their creative pieces that incorporate beauty, art, and sometimes drama. All these fuss just to give a proper introduction to the latest trend that will reign supreme in the next couple of months.
While many of us weren’t invited nor can’t fly to New York, London, or Milan to join the exclusive Fashion Week festivities, we are all eyes for news and updates on the runway. But let’s admit it—while we admire the newest fashion items, not a lot would necessarily get them, only base their style on. Same goes for the hair and makeup looks—nobody would actually wear all the high-end runway makeup looks in real life, so we aim to just get the look as possible without looking like freaks, right?

Marc Jacobs
Marc Jacobs SS18 runway was all about the 50s: the bouffants and the coordinated pastel colors—we’re all for it. But another thing that stole the show was the subtle makeup color completed with a beautiful black eyeliner.

Savage x Fenty
When Savage x Fenty show, we have fallen more in love with the brain behind it all: R-I-H-A-N-N-A. The show to close the Fashion Week, it gave us total chills with its beautiful inclusivity and representation message. But of course this didn’t skip our gaze: the makeup looks that gave us the matchy-matchy feels.

Brandon Maxwell
Brandon Maxwell’s show was all about Barbie inspiration and homage to the designer’s home state, Texas. How so? It was the same runway that launched Brandon Maxwell’s collab with MAC for a makeup collection, and with that same collection, the models were properly glammed up.

Dior
The graffiti vibe during Dior’s fashion show was best depicted in the eyes of the models, especially with the beautiful “freehand” lived-in liner style by Peter Philips, the lead makeup artist.

Rodarte
With the fabulous flower-decorated hairstyles in Rodarte’s runway, the Mulleavy sisters made sure the makeup of the models complemented the blooms. James Kaliardos, the show’s makeup artist, used vibrant shades of yellow, fuchsia and blue to carry that out excellently.

Anna Sui
Because Pat McGrath was the main makeup artist for Anna Sui, it was expected that his line of makeup will be used. And of course, the final looks were full of holographic twists—but, paired with an element of no makeup makeup.

Tom Ford
Tom Ford kept it’s runway sophisticated with the pinch of glam. Neutral hues of headwraps were seen in most of the models, yet they were balanced by the touch of glimmer on their eyelids.
