In today’s age of sustainability in fashion, should glamour be compromised? Design duo Abdul Abasi and Greg Rosborough argued that it shouldn’t! Their Fall 2019 Abasi Rosborough Menswear Collection was an array of elegantly elongated looks that touched on traditional glamour but made with organic fabrications. Each of their materials was natural, made through processes that didn’t harm the environment, while others were even recycled. The main stars of the line were the looks themselves. Starting with a crimson trench and yards and yards of fabric for a skirt. It made use of all the material instead of cutting up and wasting a huge portion of it. Such was the case of a leopard-print bomber jacket as well, which was worn over a tunic-like garment that was also abundant in meters. But for those looking for a fitted suit, look no further than the organic cotton ensemble in black—seductively slimming! As proven by this line, glamour can still be achieved through sustainability, which means the fashion world will still be fine if ever it goes full organic mode!
