Women nowadays want easy fashions. Despite the rise of tailoring, there’s also a need for clothes that are easily accessible and simple to put on, and Andrea Lieberman might have presented the best answer to such needs. Her Pre-Fall 2019 Collection is all about being cool and comfortable in chic clothing. Even the python-printed pieces look less severe, but still as glamorous as ever. Draping was heavily featured in this line, with Lieberman tying and twisting her clothes to reveal a timeless elegance that’s uncomplicated yet extremely refined. An off-the-shoulder little black bustier dress, for example, twisted by the bosom area, makes for both a stunning beach wedding attire as well as a cover-up for a bikini before swimming in the sea. With this, A.L.C. also offered another need for women’s clothing: versatility. It takes a sheer genius like Lieberman to construct a simple and effortless collection that meets all of her clients’ demands, and come fall, these clothes are sure to be sold out!
