Albino Teodoro put a whole new spin on the phrase “couture-worthy” with his latest line! In fact, we’d even go far as to say that his Fall 2019 collection is much better than what other designers have been trying to pass off as ‘haute couture’ during Paris Fashion Week! Presenting in his Milan showroom, we wished his 18-look offering expanded into 180 or even more with such a caliber of craft! That highlighter teal pantsuit was cut in such a sharp and precise way, it’s almost staggering! And the use of baroque prints and how they were styled together? Sublime! An all-black Le Smoking suit with ruffled sleeve-hems combined the masculinity and femininity of haute couture in such harmonic equilibrium! While the quilted opera coat that went all the way to the floor offered a slight nudge to today’s sportier styles without looking gimmicky or too trendy. We wish other designers had this sort of subtlety and sophistication! But for now, we’re thankful that the likes of Mr. Teodoro are still offering the finest fashions money can buy!
