Thé Noir 29 by Le Labo Review
Description
Thé Noir 29 may say black tea on the name, but the ingredient underplays itself here to make way for other notes—bergamot and fig greet after the first few seconds of spray, with hints of bay leaves to be detected shortly. Smoky complements woody once the cedar and vetiver emerge. The tobacco and musk give the scent a dark, mysterious ending, and that’s going to last a long while. When worn, the fragrance will be to blame for the intrigued men and women who’ll come your way.

Thé Noir 29 is released by Le Labo, a brand for luxury fragrances based in New York. The impressiveness of the scent is something we owe to Frank Voelkl, one of the most excellent perfumers around, who has also created Santal 33, Iris 39 and Glossier’s You.
