Pros

Mostly known for being sported by American Presidents, the Day-Date watch exudes a powerful air and a prestigious aura. This is partly because of its history of being on the wrists of world leaders, celebrities, royalty, head of states, and the like; and its fame can only be attributed to its excellent performance and stunning form and appearance.

Its more recent versions have undergone improved production methods, making them highly precise and with enhanced performance and quality of materials. More elements that distinguishes the timepiece above all others include its date aperture zoomed by Cyclops lens, precious materials content, highly-coveted Presidential bracelet, and the concealed Clownclasp. Its Rolex caliber 3255 movement also has an anti-magnetic feature and a blue Parachrom hairspring, making it extremely durable in various situations.

Cons

There really none to hate about the President’s watch; but if we must pick a possible disadvantage, it would be that the fame of the timepiece led it to become one of the most copied and mimicked pieces. Hence, the spread of its counterfeits. But of course, not even one of those can ever come close to this iconic watch and as they say, “imitation is the best form of flattery.”
