What makes a luxury timepiece so special? For some, it’s the innovative functions that push the industry forward into the new frontier. For others, it’s the prestige of owning a piece that was made via special traditions that harken back to past centuries of fine watchmaking and craftsmanship. Whichever reason it may be, one can’t deny the attractive pull of a luxury watch, especially if it’s made out of the finest materials in the world. Such is the case of Piaget’s Extremely Lady “Traditional Oval” watch.

Pros
Classified as a jewelry watch, Piaget’s “Traditional Oval” timepiece is arguably more precious than just any jewel offered by high fashion accessory brands. The miniature but maximalist watch is encased in a choice of 18-karat rose gold or shimmering silver with matching strap—the picture of exuberant perfection. Its diamond-encrusted bezel adds regality to the timepiece, substantially increasing its worth tenfold. Ladylike and elegant, the watch is sure to capture the eyes, hearts, and wallets of prestigious women today as it did in the 1960’s with style icon Jackie Kennedy.
Cons
Piaget is known for their versatile timepieces, of which this “Traditional Oval” model is not. Although it can be worn during the day, this piece looks strictly for the evening and elegant functions only and is far too precious for every day. Similarly, the watch is exclusively feminine thanks to its small size. There have been numerous cases wherein ladies’ watches were versatile enough to be worn by men, but this particular timepiece truly exemplifies its collection’s name—”Extremely Lady”—for that to not happen.
